Hi Catherine Not quite, I was having problems with my e-mail accounts the other day and outlook kept restarting the download of my messages so I would end up with several copies of the same message in my inbox. When I was going through them this morning I noticed that there were as many as six copies of the same message. Outlook kept finding messages on the yahoo server that it couldn't download so I had to go on line and delete them to free the server up, this is why I have switched to googlemail. Outlook is intelligent enough to know not to duplicate contacts so why not messages? -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of catherineturner2007@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, February 18, 2008 3:12 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: deleting duplicated messages Hi Adrian, By "duplicated messages do you mean messages with the same subject? If so, assuming you're using Outlook Express, you could do a search with control shift f, type the subject in the subject box and press Enter; then when the results come up you could press shift and end to highlight them all and then press delete. Or if you have messages grouped by converation in the view menu, then if you collapse them by pressing left arrow as you go down through the inbox, then press delete. Did I understand your question correctly? If you are literally getting duplicate messages, as in exactly the same message from the same person at the same time there's something wrong somewhere...
