What about putting a filter in where the line comes into the house? You might
be able to use the one filter for all three phones.

Yes, that is what appears to be happening at my end. However, when I say, I
have 3 telephones in my house, B.T did not set them up or do they charge me
for them. All I did was purchase a few junction boxes and some cable and
have 1 phone upstairs and 2 downstairs. B.T would have charged me a fortune
to set this up. So perhaps because I did it myself, I am having this
irritating problem. Perhaps if I can find out where my nearest B.T shop is,
I can purchase a third filter for the telephone which is causing the
difficulty.
