You can download BBC radio clips to some extent. But these clips are usually of no real importance, i.e. sound clips from The Blitz, paddle steamer on the Mersey, etc, clips that you find on some BBC history and nostalgia pages . But all your regular programs, BBC Live 5, Radio 1 through 7, etc can't be downloaded. The only thing you download from BBC's radio player is an html document. I've checked the source file of that and find it near impossible to steal an audio file. A friend with sight has achieved this. However, I have downloaded the demo but cannot get it to work. Would anyone like to have a go? You can get it from www.metaproducts.com and you need offline explorer pro.
