Hi all.

I'm intending to upgrade my 2 year old computer in February and have a
couple of questions.

I've been wanting to purchase an Audigy external sound card and associated
speakers for a while and thought that I'd get one for my new computer. But
before I go out and spend around £200, I'd like to know if the alternative
of connecting my computer to my hi-fi is worth consideration. I tried in
the past to plug my computer to my hi-fi, though thought that the sound
quality was very poor. Any thoughts on the matter very welcomed

Best wishes.
