hi George, I had a look on there site, and found some
reference to other pcs but not mine.
its an advent, and I am getting the same error message on
roxio media 7 suite,
that being the application failed to initialise (0xc0000005)
may be a dodgy dll somewhere you think?

        Hi Simon,

If you could get more precise information about the
error, it may be reported on their web page.

        George.

hi George, I downloaded the update but every
time I run it, it goes through the motions, but it says that
it couldn't complete the installation some garbage about my
system not being modified, and to try again later.
thanks adobe once again for a brilliant
useless piece of kit.

                        Hi Simon,

This is an Adobe Reader program used
to speed up the loading
                        process.

                        Suggest you update Adobe Reader
which should install the SP2
                        patch.

                        George.
