Hi Philip,

Again, you can't really compare. Both units can use Eloquence. One
difference though is that KNFB is self-voicing, as is SiRecognizer, but
SiRecognizer can also work with your screen reader, because it is on a
full-blown PC.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve,
I an sure the function most people on this list are interested in is the
text to speech. whilst the SI recogniser may be more versatile, at a price,
it does not preclude a comparison of this function. I for one would be most
interested. I think reading about these devices is the nearest I an going
to get to one for a long tine.

Regards
Philip

Hi Paul,

You can't really do a comparative, because Recognizer runs on a full PC,
while KNFB runs on a PDA or a mobile phone. They are completely different
animals.

don't think they're available till march. it'd be interesting to see a
comparative review of the knfb and the si recogniser though. perhaps
infotech will do this at some stage - Terry.with the

Hi

Was just wondering whether anyone had bought one of these yet, and could
give any independent feed back.

Thanks.

Terry
