high. thanks for the reply. i've tryed reinstalling it but its still the same. 
i gave iTV a ring and they told me that if i was able to receve channal 4, then 
i should be able to receve ITV1 as well. the funny thing is that i can get 
ITV2+1. is there anything you have to change in the settings?. maybe you have 
to ajust the frequency?.

  A few months back I had all my stations tuned in and available in the menus 
but couldn't get any sound from radio 1 although I knew there should have been 
as the TV in the other room played it fine.  I reinstalled the software from 
the CD and all was fine.  I was getting a few crashes which helped me decide 
but even if your not I'd give it a go.
