Hi Jacky

Yes you are right, I don't think she is going for another
kindle now as there are many more options, she has another
kindle and her hudl but the choice is her's.

Adrien

Hi Adrien

I am not sure there is a definitive answer to this because
if your mum
purchases something else, she may use the additional
features on that
device, causing more wear and tear. If she goes for Apple
or Android,
however, she could use the Kindle app which is free to
download.

Kind regards,

Subject: [access-uk] an alternative to the kindle

Hi

My mum's second kindle has just packed up, it is out of
warranty, she is a heavy user, I am thinking because now
there are so many tablets out there, what would be a good
combination, something that will last more than a year, she
has worn out 2 kindles in 2.5 years, she reads a lot. Where
ever she goes, the kindle is with her. I have suggested that
she gets something harder wearing than another kindle.

Regards

Adrien
