You should be able to just start typing, and that message will go below it.
Send is usually near top left, depending on which mail app you are using.

Ok friends, i’m making headway albeit slowly, but enjoying it, so, I want to
send an e mail, I type out the e mail address to which i’m sending the
message, type in the subject, then when I go to look for the edit box for the
body of the message all I find is “sent from my galaxy etc” where do I type in
the message, I tried just typing over that message but I don’t get any response
from the keyboard i’m using, I hope i’m making myself clear but I doubt it,
then when i’ve finished the message where do I find the “send” command, i’m
using a qwerty keyboard, and it’s ok, hope someone can help, if I crack it
