Hi Rodger.

If you go to http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate, you can use the new
and improved interface to download only the updates you want. Go to the above
site and follow the instructions given. This site will update office as well
if you have it installed.

All the best, Ibrahim.

  Subject: [access-uk] Windows XP Update

  Hi All

I've just done a clean re-install and need to update Windows XP with the
critical updates. In my in-box is an icon saying to update automatically. But
does this give me a say in what is installed? For example I do not like Windows
Defender and have always refused it when the update is ready. If I don't have a
say where do I go to get the option to refuse if I want to?

  Many thanks

  Roger
