Hi, I was under the impression that as long as you're currently running a
qualifying version of windows you'd just use your existing key.

Can I install windows 10 without waiting for my notification? I know that I can download the disc image from Microsoft's website, which in some ways answers my question, but I am unsure if I need my windows activation code. If i do, how can I find this in windows 8.1? Or should I get it another way?
