This is true, but, the bone conductor headphones have their disadvantages.  
They don't distinguish between the finer points of music.  If that is what you 
are wanting, and people can sometimes hear sounds coming from them.

  I've not tried them yet, but I am told that the bone conductor earphones mean 
that you can still use your ears for listening and orientation.
