Hi,
Whilst I apologise for breaking any forum rules, and will not do so again, I think it is worth clarifying that the removing of DRM as opposed to simply distributing copied files is not a clear cut case of being illegal. I am currently involved in a case similar to this and it is in no way a clear cut issue.

Regards
Karl

Subject: [access-uk] Warning: Piracy issues

Hi,

It has come to my attention that this list has seen at least one blatent mentioning of cracking Copyright protection by removing Digital Rights Management, (DRM), on the Kindel. Methods and processes like this is illegal. This could move the spotlight not only on to the individual, but the community as a whole.

I and others will be watching and any further discussion of how to crack will mean a lifetime ban for the person/persons.

This is a serious matter, please don't take it litely.

Barry
