Hi Billy.

Apologies for misinterpreting your message, you need to use Windows Contacts which is the replacement for the address book as this is what windows mail uses to store contacts you email. You should be able to access it from the tools menu, but not being a vista user myself, perhaps someone could advise you more comprehensively. As for sharing folders, it depends on which version of messenger you are using. If you are using the latest version which is 2009, this feature has been removed in favor of windows live sky drive, a web based sharing facility. If you want sharing folders, you'll have to downgrade to version 8.1 which is the last version available for independent download as after that its windows live installer which only installs the latest version.

All the best, Ibrahim.
