Hi all,

I've just renewed my Microsoft Passport and set up Windows Messenger.
In the process of doing the latter I was asked to "Sign into SIP". I
understand "Sip Communications" to be a telephony service which
(presumably) I need to sign into in order to use my own email address
for MSN and not a Hotmail one. If anyone knows this to be correct, I
should appreciate verification on this point.

Further, what do I do now to sign in to a SIP service? Do I need to use
my own name or a nickname?

All help much appreciated!
