Mine had a similar issue, but not quite the same.

About 10 seconds after reading the time it would vibrate once for  a short
while, this was when I guess the screen was being de-activated..

I spoke to the RNIB and in the end sent it back. 
It took a few weeks to be returned to me, but the movement had to be reset
by Tissott to correct this.

This was about 11 months from new.

No problems since.

My Tissot watch has started giving two or three buzzes around ten seconds
after I have read the time from it.

Is this a low battery indication or some other fault indication?  I can't
find the box to check the CD for this info at the minute.
