Hi Andy

The mono signal that comes through the speaker on the Pure Move radio removes hiss, so you get a better signal. But when you plug your headphones in, the signal becomes stereo, therefore bringing in hiss. A radio has to have a very strong signal not to hiss in stereo.

Overall, my opinion of DAB radios that accommodate FM is that they aren't as good as proper FM sets. The Pure Move is the best of those I've seen and used, but you do get digital interference from the computer processor.

I hope this makes sense and helps answer your question.

Jackie

Hi all

Does this happen to other users I wonder? I have found when listening on FM,
that the reception is fine until I plug in headphones, then the tuning is
very poor, but if I unplug the headphones again, it returns just fine!
