Hi Ian

On the Pure digital website it says that additional voices will be available
for download soon. Personally I'm happy with my evoke-2, I like the battery
operation and the FM tuner, bt I can see why people might want the speech for
the setup options and the tuning, particularly if you're in London and you've
got 100 channels to choose from!

Out of interest, which stations is the radio able to recognise? Does it only
know the national multiplexes?

James

  Hello Sandra,

At least one other Sonus user and I have not been able to get the mail voice
to speak. Anyone had any joy with that?

  Cheers now.

    Hi all
Anyone wanting to hear a sample of the speech on the talking Dab radio, go
    to:

    http://digital-lifestyles.info/display_page.asp?section=platforms&id=1954
It's got all the info about the radio plus samples of the male and female
voices. I think the male voice is one of the best I have ever heard, but
then I suppose I'm somewhat biassed being female ! !

    Cheers,
    Sandra.
