Hi Caroline, The Caretec Zeitgeist is a nice clock. No displays, just three buttons on the whole clock, and probably one of the smallest clocks I have seen. There are timers and alarms on it, but of course, you don't have to use them. The model of clock I have is no longer being produced, so I have looked on both the Cobolt and RNIB sites to see what's currently available. From what I've seen, and the audio samples I've listened to, the talking cube clock from the RNIB seems to be probably the most suitable. I'd be interested to know if anyone has any experiences, good or bad, with this clock, or if you think any of the alternatives would be better.
