I'll amend that, you can store and read text, mp3, audible and bookshare, 
tnauk  and soon daisy files in the courier it's very easy to use, is meant 
to be carried about having a lock keys feature and keypad help always at 
hand
It plays music in stereo and the headphones provided give quite a decent 
sound. Now that memory cards are easily available in different sizes it can 
serve as an mp3 player, its firmware is updated all the time and can be done 
very easily.
Just love the thing!...
