ah, must be a common issue then. its a real shame a hardware upgrade to the boxes wasn't released, it could really do with just that little bit of extra power for the text to speech, not to mention better/faster hard drives and hard drive controllers.

all the best,

Mo.

Agreed. I also have this with mine, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have just accepted this as it's not a big deal for me

This happens a lot. I think it depends on how long the radio recording is as it works over longer recordings.
I think it is just a quirk of the system.

    Hi.

Very strange. It could be the drive failing. How many recordings
do you have stored on there?

    Cheers,

    Mo.

        Hi Mo,
Up to now I was able to advance through a recording of a radio program
by using the right and left keys on the second row from the bottom of the
remote control. But now if I press the right or left button on the controls the
TVonics crashes out of the recording.
I have pulled out the power supply and rebooted several times with no
improvement. I can select positions in the recording by the minute ok.
        Kind regards
        Aedan.
