It should be. I know that a lot of these programmes are made by indipendent
production companies, butsurely there should be somethingwritten into the
code of practice which governs these companies saying that where addresses
or telephone numbers are put up on screen, they should also be announced
verbaly.

We did a piece about Test The Nation following the first broadcast in 2002. Believe me, in subsequent quizzes they have made real efforts to make more of the show more accessible to blindies. But it's never going to be possible to get all of it that way.

Pity we're all thick though because of the discriminatory test the nation! Would Ian do this test to show them? It would make a good In Touch program!
