Hi Andy, a good starting point is always the local CAB. Making an appointment with them will give you an idea of how to approach this problem and could save you time and at least gain better understanding of the pitfalls ahead. They will be able to provide you with a list of solicitors in the area but will not recommend one over another. It is down to you to select your own representative although if you make an appointment with CAB ask if there is a solicitor who can be present during the appointment.

Good luck, Clive.
