Hi James
I lisktened to the complete Deny message. I am not used to all this thing. Was going to send you a recording of it and then when I kept lisktening (I thought it was repeating itself) then it talked about Vodafone and under 18 etc and removing Content Control. I've given Vodafone a call now and they have lifted this ban and apparently I need to wait 10 minutes with my phone off and then it will work for me. Will let you know how I get on.

Hi Eleanor,
1. Go to www.fring.com
2. Find the download section and download the correct version for your Symbian device.
3. Download the file from the site. It will be a .sis or .sisx file.
4. Navigate to the folder on your computer where you downloaded the file to and find the Fring installer.
5. Connect your phone to your PC via USB, Bluetooth etc.
6. Press enter on the Fring Installer file and then answer 'yes' at the 'Would you like to install the application to the phone?' dialog box prompt. 7. Follow the on-screen instructions on your phone to complete the instalation. Note that this is one way to do it, what I do with new apps is use a Symbian app called SymSMB. This app allows me to copy files direct to the phone from my PC. So, I would go to the website, find the correct file, and download it straight on to my phone over my home network. I could then navigate to the file using my phone's file manager and install it. I find this much quicker and this way I don't need to connect my phone with any cables or anything like that.

Thanks James. You will see from the list (I think) that Steve Nutt sent me
a link for Fring. I just need to work out now how to download it.

Hi Eleanor,
I doubt TALKS can be put on it unless it runs the Symbian platform, which
it doesn't. There are applications available for Symbian devices that work
with TALKS for calling Skype contacts.

I heard about this type of phone today that it can be used for calling
people on Skype. Has anyone got one? Is it expensive? Can Talks be put
on it?
