Hi Edward,

This is indeed tricky. But I have discovered that turning off Browse mode
in Window-Eyes is a better policy and tabbing through the fields. When you
hit the first field, put Browse back on and look at the label above it.
That's the only way I have found to do it. Tedious, but I did manage to
create an Itunes account.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Signing up for iTunes Store with WE7 or JAWS10 Beta

Hi,

I am having difficulty signing up for an iTunes Store account when using
either Window-Eyes 7.0 full release or JAWS10 Public Beta (just updated).

When I am in the store, and the screen readers use either their browse or
virtual viewers, the edit field titles are being read but the fields
themselves are not being picked up. I therefore can't press enter on them.

With JAWS, pressing the tab key will cycle through the fields, but in this
instance the names aren't being read, and the order doesn't seem to match
the field titles that I can arrow through.

Combo boxes and check boxes are being recognised by both screen readers.

I am running iTunes 8 on an HP Pavilion 9000 series laptop with a 2.2Ghz
Core Duo Processor, 2 GB RAM and a 320GB hard drive.

Grateful for any suggestions, or even confirmation that this is what should
be happening.

Many thanks,

Edward
