So how does it work, Ian, say I want to download a file?

Hi Alison,
That’ll be ‘Smartscreen Filter’. You can override and get your download by
turning Smart Screen Filter off, but since Sendspace may send unsolicited
files along with your wanted download, or try to redirect you to gambling
websites and so on, in the words of Sergeant Wilson from Dad’s Army: “Do you
really think this is wise?”
Best,
Clive

Hello Colin
I too have the Pro account and until yesterday have not experienced any
difficulty downloading files. But yesterday when I attempted to download the
file I was asked if I wanted to open or save the document, and when I chose
to save it, a message came up, whose wording I can’t quite call to mind, but
said the file was unsafe and had been stopped by “something filter”.
I called my husband in who was able to over-ride this so there must be a way
of doing so when this message occurs and I thought I’d seen on this list
where someone had also experienced this difficulty but I didn’t make a note
of the solution.
