[access-uk] Sam server message

From time to time Sygate reports on my XP Pro laptop that Sam 
Server has changed and asking whether I wish to allow access etc. I 
choose "No" and all seems to go on normally. 
I was originally fooled by the name Sam - having the Dolphin 
Synthesiser Access Manager on my system but clearly this is 
something different. 
Presumably it is part of Windows? If anyone could satisfy my curiosity I 
would be very grateful.
