Hi AllI have just tried to do a restore to my XP Home marching. It accepted a highlighted date and close my system down as per normal. But then said it could not restore to that date so I needed to pick a new date. I did to the same result.
The last time I was having problems the same thing happened. I sorted out the problem another way and assumed the inability to restore was something to do with the problem I was having. It appears not so. I heard a while ago restore memory could be erased by CCleaner. I experimented but decided not to have that facility operating all the time so turned it off. I am wondering if CCleaner is removing my restore points every time I run it which is daily. I just can't remember the details of that item now so any help that can be offered will be greatly appreciated.
