You could also try the free version of Belarc Advisor as a useful tool.

Just google for it and then download it. It gives you all sorts of
information about the PC environment.

Hi. It could also be on a sticker on the computer case or in the manual 
that came with your computer. If windows is still installed on the 
computer, you could locate it by using a program like produkey.
