Well it may or may not be an emoticon. It is just that my Supernova calls it a red rose emoticon.

If it's a file that you can save then it's not an emotacon. So this
changes the situation a little.

You need to explore how you create HTML emails. So google something
like: "How do I put an image in an html email?"

Hope useful

I could save it as an image file but do not know how I would put it in
the body of the e-mail and how I would set it up to always appear when I
send e-mails.

There might be a way of getting the code from the email itself, but it
might involve sighted help.

Cheers

Possibly Barry. I have had e-mails from someone with a little flower in
the
bottom left of the message. I receive my e-mails in HTML. There must be
some
code or other to embed the image for all e-mails. Cannot ask the person
as I
do not have contact with them at present.

Hi Eleanor

I was under the impression that emoticons were made up of punctuation
symbols, such as colon dash right bracket making a smily face on its
side.
I may be wrong, but I think you are actually looking for a picture icon.
You'd have to either create these yourself or find one that is already
created. Sorry, can't help you with either.

Cheers

Barry

Hi
I want to be able to send emoticons in e-mail or text message. for
example
a red rose emoticon or one of a labrador if there is such a thing. I
appreciate many people on the list will not wish for these but maybe
someone
could e-mail me off list who might have information on this or use them.

Eleanor
