TNAUK should have a recycling scheme up and running, as does RNIB. Perhaps
if they haven't they should contact RNIB to find out where to send bulk
quantities of CD's. Then all customers would be able to return them and
know they would be recycled. The address I gave in an earlier post was one
I found on a recycling website. I am not a TNAUK subscriber, so just have
small quantities of CD's I have no more use for to send off.

You can do two or three things:

1) Send then back to TNAUK, suggesting they do something
about a recycling scheme. They won't be able to re-use them
as such, but if they gather enough, they can get a few
pounds for them.

2) Use them as coasters to put hot mugs on.

3) Make them into clocks and give them away as presents.

George.

Hi,

Does anyone know if/where CDs can be recycled? Because I
get weekly
CDs from TNAUK and don't want to just throw them away. I
heard that
RNIB talking books are recycled when we send them back so it
must be
doable but what can I do with other CDs?

Catherine
