Hi Catherine

I do use Replay Av to record Radio 4 listen again streams.

I do it by entering the direct Real Audio url of the stream into the Replay Av properties for the show I want to record.

They did change some of these a month or two ago. The good thing about this change is that the Real Audio urls seem to be more consistent to a pattern.

This is based on the day of the week and the hour and minutes of the start time of the programme.

I will give some examples here and, hopefully, you can work it out from these and there times on the Radio 4 schedule.

In Touch - rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/2040_tue.ra
Great Lives - rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/1630_tue.ra
Classic Serial - rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/1500_sun.ra
Any Questions - rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/2000_fri.ra

Obviously, I have only tried this on a few programmes but it has worked perfectly in these instances.

Please let me know if this explanation is not clear.

Jim

Subject: [access-uk] Recording audio streams?

Hi,

Does anyone here record audio streams from "listen again" on the BBC
website? I have done for some time using Replay AV but recently this
won't work on the radio 4 website any more. The software doesn't seem
to pick up urls when I choose a "listen again" program from the radio
4 website, but it still does from the bbc7 one.

Does anyone here use Replay AV? Or do you use another piece of
software to capture audio streams? Have you noticed any changes about
the Radio4 streams recently?

Catherine
