Don't you think this is a bit curmudgeonly, Ian?
The press release reports how DWP say they will communicate with "blind and
partially sighted customers" - which is presumably the terminology that DWP
uses; and that RNIB has campaigned on behalf of "people with sight loss" -
which we know is terminology used by RNIB.
So the press release is strictly accurate, wouldn't you say?

Terry

An example of the confusion which clearly exists on this issue within RNIB is
illustrated in the first paragraph of a press release I’ve just received from
them and quote below.
the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has released a new report today
outlining reforms to ensure that blind and partially sighted customers will
receive their letters etc in the format they need them (braille, audio, large
print, electronic). This is a significant step forward - RNIB has campaigned on
the issue for a long time following numerous complaints from people with sight
loss.

So which are we?
