Hi Carol, Don't know the limits of the Zen, but no, you wouldn't have to copy anything other than the MP3s as other files, like the SMIL and XML files wouldn't make sense to the Zen anyway. It would simply ignore them. Whilst on this subject though, if you really *want* to play Daisy on the Zenstone, would you need to copy over anything else apart from the MP3's? I would think not but thought I'd just clarify this. Also, any ideas how many MP3's the Zen can cope with in any one folder? -- Carol carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: Steve <mailto:steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Nutt To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, December 12, 2007 9:25 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: QUESTION ABOUT ZENSTONE AND DAISY FORMAT FILES Hi Margaret, or is it Doreen? As Roger says, yes, but you lose a lot of the navigation, like headers and section traversing. Also depending on the book's file names, it may not play on the Zen in the correct order. So I would disagree with Roger on that basis and say no, it wouldn't really play Daisy satisfactorily, unless you are absolutely sure the files are in the right order by their naming conventions. I know people say don't bother with Daisy players because Daisy works on MP3 players, but I think the navigation is nice.
