Benjamin, there's a feature in JAWS whereby it disables the key repeat
feature of the Operating System. You can set it in configuration manager,
under set options > user options > key repeat. Hope that helps.

Repeating keys are part of the operating system, not just JAWS, though I
suppose JAWS might modify some system settings.
