Hi Mike,
You should go to settings centre:
jaws key + j
choose 'utilities' and then 'settings centre'
go to the applications tab and choose microsoft word 2007
go down the list and change the settings to what you want and then save then
this should set the settings permanently.

Hello helpful friends,
I am using Win 7, MS Word 2007 and JFW 12 and for some reason it keeps
reading out the new line and new paragraph.
I pressed Insert + V for the Jaws screen and went to Edit and turned off new
line and paragraph announce, pressed return to save changes and it keeps
returning to reading them out.
Before I totally lose it, can you help? What am I missing?
