Hi,
As said, it can take 2-3 working days for the funds to clear. Best thing is
to call your bank and ask them to check your recent transactions, which can
be more time-saving especially if you have a crowded statement. The
transactions will be clearly marked as being from PayPal.

sorry if this is off topic
just signed up with paypal and am trying tolinkmy bank account to it, paypal
is supposed tohave deposited two small ammounts in to my account and it
needs me to confirm what the ammounts of thesetwo deposits are. i checked my
bank account when i first received the instructions telling me what they'd
done which was last night and then again this morning but so far there's no
sign of them, is it likely these deposits will take a few days or something
to go through?
