Subject: [access-uk] Ominous login message

Hi all.

I’ve received an ominous message when logging into Windows7: ‘User profile
services failed’. I can get no further than the startup login screen. The
machine is 7 years old, so I’m wondering if it’s just getting tired. This seems
to have happened following the installation of some Windows updates.

Any help welcomed, with thanks,
