[access-uk] Notepad not opening txt files any more using window's7.

Hello,
I don't know what I have done.
I now can't seem to get text files to open with notepad anymore! I have
to hit application's key and go to open with hitting enter used to just
open notepad but not any more.
I went into default programs but can't see anything about notepad, I
went into file association's and I can't see a text extension to
associate note pad with this file.
Any help would be appreciated.
