The latest update is really about prepping the iTunes client for the new
iPhone operating system among other mundane matters to mere mortals,
accessibility considerations (and bear in mind Apple are a mainstream
developer not an AT vendor) lands some way down the list after improving
monetised revenue.

A general point can be considered here that if one uses third party
support for applications that perdiocially update one should be
circumspect about the update if you depend on that application.  I have
in the paast expressed similar cautions wih regard to IE8.0 on the basis
that it may form one part of your whole setup which may be broken by the
update unless proper research is carried out.
