Subject: [access-uk] Need help setting the pendulum on my clock to a constant speed

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem that I'm having with
my wall clock.
Basically, the clock uses a pendulum mechonism to operate the hands. I've
had it on my wall for just over a year now, and a couple of days ago
decided to make use of it. However, I'm having a problem.
I've figured out how to set the time, but I seem to be unable to get the
pendulum at a constant speed, I.E. ticking at one second intervals. It's
currently inconsistant, meaning that you here one hand clock, then bout
half a second later another click.
The problem that this causes is that the clock is about half an hour fast,
and by fast I don't mean it's a simple case of changing the time.
Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get the pendulum at a constant
speed so that the clock stays on the correct time?
Sorry if thsi is beyond this list or if it's not allowed.
Cheers.
