  Possibly because it's illegal to download copyrighted material using that 
software? If you go down the file sharing road, Sharon, you at least want to 
make sure that you aren't sharing too much of your own hard drive, especially 
personal documents and so on.  Also, the more music you share the more likely 
you are to be picked on by the recording industry for one of their 
deterrent-producing show trials.  Still, would get you on the telly I suppose 
:).

  Seriously though, the music industry has shown itself to be very inflexible 
and mistrustful with digital downloading, and insists on treating us all like 
children, which is why illegal downloading flourishes.
