Hi Darren, I understand all that you say, I to have a problem with NSW in some parts but I just leave well alone, I had a problem with reggisting the dam software also and still to this day it isn't working right. Just do not use the auto repaired wizard

I've found and unchecked the fix problems option, but doesn't this mean that
I'm not really achieving anything by running disk doctor in the first place?

If it runs and finds problems, but then can't fix them, haven't I just taken
two steps forward and one step back?

I do remember having this problem with NSW 2004 on a 98 system, but I was
always able to release the C Drive from whatever had hold of it by using End
It All, that's why I'm a little confused as to what's changed with how
Norton works with XP.

| Hello Darren, Ok Have you tried going into my computer? and doing
| applications key, up to properties then do CTRL tab to Norton tools next
| tab once here should be disk doctor tab around in here as there is a
check
| box to untick once you have this done you should be able to run disk
doctor
| with no problems.
