I totally agree. I have both my space and facebook and although I do use my space for some social activitties, the reason why I have a my space account is mainly music. I've found out huge amount of undiscovered music and just generally music that you wouldn't find elsewhere through my space. Regarding the original question, if you are already signed up with my space if you go to your profile there is a setting somewhere that stops music loading automaticly when visitting a page, so I suppose one way of getting over this is to sign up if the person is not already signed up, then log in to my space and go to that page, music shouldn't play. I can't remember exactly what setting it is or how it's worded, but go to the profile settings or something like that and you should be able to find it. If you need more help let me know and I'll try to find out more precise info by looking at the profile settings.

Hi,
Well you might have a point there as far as the comparative accessibility of FaceBook, but this person was wanting to order a CD from someone on MySpace so they have no option but to go there. Also I think MySpace is more set up for people wanting to share their music/promote themselves as artists, so there's a good reason why some of us would like to be able to use MySpace.

Hi all, I don't know why we all just can't sign up to Facebook. I've just been on it tonight and done some stuff on it, and I enjoy it. Better than either Myspace or the other "social" networks.
