Hi Roger and AndyYes, that's exactly what I wondered. When I heard those names, it made me think immediately: "Ah, Apple Mac."
Since we are also looking for a new external drive, I might give Maplin a ring some time or pop over to the one in Edinburgh to see what they have. That's a very reasonable price for a storage size like that.

Hi AndySounds you have a Mac configured drive. I would have thought a re-format to NTFS or FAT32 would solve your problem. Try a call to the Maplin store when they open about 11 am today.Roger----- Original Message ----- From: "Andy Logue" <andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, February 09, 2008 10:50 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Maxter 750 GB External Drive enquiryHi Jackie.I bought it in, Maplands in Glasgow. £103 for 750 GB. When I select Open Folder to view files, I'm presented with the following directories:Bin. Drivers. EULA. guides. Mac OneTouch 4.app. autorun.in.# Launch.exe, Launch.ini. mxoicon6.ico. OneTouch 4.dmg.Can anyone please tell me if I've done anything wrong, or if not, where do I send my albums too.
