Thanks Peter, as I received your message he managed to delete it but we'll
keep that link, he downloaded AVG and replaced Avast with that and it seemed
to have done the trick. Thanks for your help.

Go to www.jfwlite.com and get into the programs page and download and run a
little utility called Shoot The Messenger.
This should do the job.

Hi there,
My husband and I thank goodness don't share a computer and on his laptop he
has found a pop up that keeps on saying your computer has been infected by a
backdoor trojan please click on this balloon (which they spelt with one l)
and download this programme which will get rid of it, he knows quite a bit
about it but this thing is a virus in itself and every time he tries to get
rid of it, it kind of comes back in a loop and won't go. He says it seems
to be looking at things on the web but do any of you know how to get rid of
it, or have you had anything similar? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
