Hi John,
I am interested in breaking up a big mp3 file that consists of 6 scientific
lectures that I bought on Audible. I want to break it at the end of each
lecture. I downloaded the program WavePad and is there any way I can move
quickly through the file. F12 is the fast read but this will take up to half
an hour to get to the end of each lecture. I listened to the tutorial on
Youtube. This is too simplistic.
Kind regards
Aedan.

Hi Amro, I'd suggest Wavepad from NCH. There's a free edition and a more
advanced pay edition. For the sort of thing you need it for the free edition
will do fine. To trim or otherwise edit it's very easy. Having loaded the
file to be edited move to the beginning of the section you want to edit,
then set the first marker, which you'll find in the edit menu. Then go to
the end of the section to be edited and set the second marker. Having that
just cut, either with control x or selecting cut from the edit menu.
  The link to it is

Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before. I'm after a simple and
easy to use app for clipping mp3 files. All I need to do is a
straightforward clipping from a long mp3 file. Any names please?

I can't remember what people were suggesting for this I'm afraid and
I don't seem to have any tool for this on my computer. Thanks.

        Amro
