On my third generation Touch, podcasts are located in the music folder. At
the bottom of the screen, there is a button labelled more and when you double
tap it you get subfolders: audiobooks and podcasts.

All your podcasts and other audio video media are in the IPod. This is one
of the icons on the bar across the bottom of the screen near the home button,
unless of course you've rearranged your home screen.

Good to be able to ask a more ordinary question now. I've synced some
podcast to the Touch, but can't find where podcasts reside on the thing.
I've got 2 home screens of icons, but nothing for podcasts. -
