Hi James, If you are using Outlook Express. Make sure that within OE, you do not have the check box checked that reads, connect to Windows Messenger on startup. Obviously I have made sure that the box within Windows Messenger that tells it to run when Windows starts is unchecked, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Suggestions welcome. James
