Maybe if you know the phones he can use it on, you could advise on list, this way Andrew will know if he is wasting his time trying to download. I know the N86 and I think the N85 and N82 support the KNFB reader, though I think the tyjpe of light on the N95 is somewhat different, I heard talk of it being a yellow light!!! Of course I think it is the N95 8GB and not the N95 Standard that it will work with. Maybe with these new phones with better cameras, it might work on them, anyone have any ideas?----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Cairns" <jackie.cairnsplace@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I would add that you need to try and find a suitable handset on which it canwork, or else you've wasted your money! The scanning will never be as accurate as a flatbed scanner, I believebecause of the effect of ambient light on the material to be scanned. Try before you buy. Sounds like it would save me waiting for a support worker to readcooking instructions for me. Is there much setting up to do with it please Barry? Many thanks for your help I do very much appreciate the help. It's easier with a mobilethat has the camera in the middle of the phone. One tip I read was to placethe phone on the item to scan then lift it straight up about 12 inches.
